The lightweight frame means it's not too much hassle to fix on top of a roof bike rack of a car, and the quick release adjusters make riding fun and effortless.
Thumb shifters let your youngster glide through the gears with confidence when they are picking up speed.
The Tektro alloy v-brakes have levers specifically designed for small hands, combined with the Kenda tyres that ensure great control, grip and stopping power. Lightweight alloy frame and fork, with no extra weight to get in a young riders way. 6-speed Shimano gearing with easy reach thumb shifters.
Full chain disc keeps their trousers legs grime free with minimal risk of snagging. Grippy tyres give perfect control without huge rolling resistance. Includes reflectors and a bike bell (not pictured) to encourage cycle safety.
Wheel size: 26" wheels. V-shape Tektro alloy v-brakes. Chain set - alloy with fully enclosed chain guard.

Admittedly my website is more geared towards adult sized bikes, as these tend to be the models which are the most popular, and offer you the most savings. Also, often the only reduced kids bikes I see are the cheap and cheerful ones, and I don't want to promote rubbish bikes to my visitors! However if and when I find any discounted kids bikes, then I include them in my kids section. If you can't find a suitable bike there, why not see my Road Bikes and Mountain bikes sections, where you can check out the smaller models which may well fit younger legs.
