Top-Performing Aero Time Trial and Triathlon Carbon Race Bike Newly reconfigured and optimised for outstanding performance, the Auro Disc's most important update is the addition of hydraulic disc brakes.
This update has led to a redesigned frame, now able to accommodate up to 28mm wide tyres, resulting in a much more aero profile with frame, rim and tyre widths all designed to work together to reduce drag. UCI Approved Race Optimised TT Bike Key features of the redesigned frame include a new headtube and stem design - still 100% integrated, but now much easier to travel with due to the lower stem cable guide, isolating the cables and allowing easy removal of the stem and handlebars.
The frame tubes have been re-profiled taking maximum advantage of the UCI's rules on aerodynamic shapes. With the introduction of disc brakes wider tyres are now possible, which offers a distinct advantage to longer distance racing, particularly triathlon, where bigger volumes can reduce rider fatigue and ease the run transition.
