With the release of the GX DH 7 speed cassette, SRAM' s 1x7 Downhill drivetrain that has enjoyed repeated success on the World Cup circuit is now available to the masses.
The GX DH cassette benefits from the same championship winning and industry-leading 1x technologies as SRAM's X01 DH drivetrain, meaning you can compete with the big boys, without breaking the bank. XD (TM) Driver Not Required Unlike the rest of the DH 7 speed range, which requires SRAM's XD (TM) driver for the cassette, the GX does not. It is designed to work with your existing splined driver body, so there's no need to ditch your favourite wheels, or adapt your rear hub.
Race Ready The GX DH cassette is light, durable and optimised for Downhill racing, as its compact design ensures gear steps to give each shift more purpose and ensure a faster transition through the gears. It has excellent clearance between the sprockets and spokes to prevent mud clogging up and affecting shifting performance. GX DH is also fully compatible with SRAM's X01 range, so if you want to upgrade your rear mech or shifter, you don't have to start from scratch.
