Ready for fast-paced trail-riding, the Shimano M4100 Deore 10 Speed Cassette delivers light and smooth performance from its minimal design sprocket carrier.
This MTB cassette's three largest sprockets are mounted on a lightweight alloy carrier to reduce weight and increase rigidity. Shimano has also equipped this version with Hyperglide sprockets that have a computer designed tooth configuration with contoured shift gates, resulting in a crisp smooth shift even under load. Its close ratio gearing also allows for a more effective use of energy through finer cadence control.
Alloy Carrier: The 3 largest sprockets are mounted on a lightweight alloy carrier to reduce weight and increase rigidity.
Hyperglide Sprockets: Hyperglide sprockets have a computer designed tooth configuration with contoured shift gates, resulting in a crisp smooth shift even under load. Sprockets are cut away and drilled to reduce weight without reducing rigidity.
Close Ratio: Close ratio gearing allows a more efficient use of energy through finer cadence control.
