Schwalbe Range Cruiser K-Guard Steel Bead Tyre

The Range Cruiser has the most versatile profile in the Active Line.

It manages the balancing act between light running on the street and good grip on loose ground. It is available with or without reflective tape. Active Line The basis for all Active Line tires is the high-quality 50 EPI carcass.

Schwalbe no longer produces tires with a coarse 20 or 24 EPI carcass. In addition, K-Guard provides effective puncture protection for Active Line tires. K-Guard Schwalbe's inimum standard for protection belts.

This Guard has been proven for many years. It consists of natural rubber and is reinforced with KEVLAR (R) fibres. Together with the 50 EPI carcass all Active Line tires are well protected against punctures.

KEVLAR (R) is a trademark of DuPont. LiteSkin The lightest option. LiteSkin MTB tires forego Snakeskin, but still have high pressure resistant tire beads.

If you don't mind the extra effort, these tires can also be converted to Tubeless by using a liquid sealant.

Schwalbe Tyres

The brand Schwalbe began life as a company in 1901 (founded by Ernst-Wilhelm Bohle), but it wasn't until 1973 that the company became known as this household name. Primarily known for it's range of bicycles tyres, Schwalbe is based Reichshof-Wehnrath (near Cologne) in Germany, with the manufacturing side of the business completed in Indonesia. It's most iconic tyre range is the Marathon, which is currently the most popular Touring tyre worldwide.
