Northwave Storm Overshoes
Cold and wet feet are no fun when cycling but with the Northwave Storm Shoecover, you'll enjoy protection from the stormiest of weather conditions.
A water and wind-resistant Neoprene outer, with taped seams, keeps your feet covered from the rain while inside a napped fabric lining contributes to extra cosiness for your feet. The closed sole design, the snug aero fit and a zipper garage to the rear enhances the resistance to water ingress too. Durability is an important consideration for winter riding and so Northwave adds an abrasion-resistant finish to the toe and reinforces the heel for added toughness when you're feet aren't in the pedals.
The reinforced heel also gets a large reflective insert and this works with the reflective reversed YKK zip to ensure you're easily spotted in wet weather and dark evening training sessions. Water- and wind-resistant Neoprene outer layer. Warm napped fabric lining.
Taped to keep the water out. Aero snug fit. Ergonomic instep with thermoformed design for water-free wear.
Abrasion-proof reinforced toe. Reinforced heel with large reflective insert. Reflective reversed YKK zip with camlock puller enhances visibility.
Zip garage keeps water out. Closed sole keeps water out and maximizes insulation and warmth.
Inner: 100% Polyester.
Outer: 100% Rubber.

If this set aren't the right size for you, then I have plenty more in my overshoes section. Each set varies in terms of characteristics; from heavy duty thermal wind & waterproof zip covers to simply lightweight aerodynamic skins for time trialing, I strive to include any heavily reduced outer footwear deals I can find, regardless of manufacturer or retailer. Either way, please make sure that they are the correct sizing (so that they fit over your cycling shoes) - some brands run tight, whereas other overshoes are specifically designed for road shoes, and so won't fit over MTB SPD shoes due to the protruding grippy soles.

Founded by Gianni Piva in the 1980s in the Italian town of Montebelluna, Northwave is owned by the Piva family. It wasn't until the 1990s that products on cycling shoes began, having previously been a snowboard equipment manufacturer. 1993 marked their first MTB shoe, and in 1996, Paola Pezzo won the first XC MTB Olympic gold wearing their products. Success on the road followed shortly afterwards, with Ivan Gotti's victory in the 1997 Giro d'Italia, followed by a second Olympic gold for Pezzo in 2000. Subsequent iconic cyclists to have won using the Northwave brand include Cipollini, Gunn-Rita Dahle, Boonen, Gilbert and Cancellara.
