The 2015 Merida Scultura 300 Road Bike features an aluminium frame, 20 speed Tiagra groupset (2 x 10), rim brakes & 700c wheels and finished in black.
The Merida Scultura 300 has a lightweight triple butted 6066 aluminium frame, the same high grade as the Reacto Aluminium and Ride Lite and features double-passed smooth welds, a tapered headtube and full carbon fork.

Shimanos 10 speed Tiagra drivetrain components offer smooth and reliable shifting.
The geometry of the Scultura is more racy compared to Meridas Ride model, it features a slightly longer top tube and shorter headtube (lower handlebar height).
PROLITE 66 The highest grade aluminium used in bike manufacturing. Using three wall thicknesses we achieve the best possible stiffness to weight ratio. TRIPLE BUTTED Three different wall thicknesses, thicker at the ends give greater stiffness and strength in areas that require it, but thinner in the middle reduces weight.
SMOOTH WELDING Creates a superb clean organic look to the frame, at first glance you will be convinced it is carbon. CARBON FORK We use only full carbon forks, the steerer and legs, reducing weight and delivering superb vibration damping and precise steering. HYDRO FORMING SYSTEM Aluminium tubes placed in negative moulds have hot hydraulic oil forced through at pressure, pushing the tubes out into complex shapes.
X-TAPER Tapered head tube, 1 1/8? bearings in the top, 1.5? in the bottom, combined with a tapered fork give superb stiffness and precise steering.
