The Merida Big Nine is a fast-rolling hardtail mountain bike that is fun to ride.
Designed and tested in Germany and manufactured in their own factory in Taiwan Merida offer a level of performance and value that is hard to beat.
Key Features: Lightweight 6061 aluminium alloy frame. Suntour for 100mm of suspension travel with lockout.
Shimano 3x8 speed drivetrain for a wide gear range. Hydraulic disc brakes for all weather stopping power.
Sizes: Small, Medium, Large, X Large, XX Large.
The Merida Big Nine is available with 0% APR finance. Our heartland has always been bombproof aluminium hardtails. Our entry level 29er is no exception, it uses a sophisticated TFS frame with the latest technology, full internal cable routing, tapered headtube and inboard disc brake mounts.
There's no point making a bombproof frame and then hanging poor components on it. Despite the entry price point we load the Big Nine 15D with as much Shimano componentry as we can due to its reliability.
Frame: TFS - 6061 series aluminium tubing, double butted and technoformed.
Tapered head tube. Inboard chain stay mounted disc brake. Internal cable routing and mounts for mudguards and kick stands.
Fork: Suntour XCT30; Coil; 100mm travel.
