Its obvious that a lot of thought has gone into keeping the sleek aesthetic of a city commuter whilst implementing the electric bike components.
The battery has been very neatly concealed within the frames lower tube, the result being a sleek looks but also sturdy and robust.
The chainguard adds an element of style that distracts from the bulky motor that afflicts E-Bikes across the board, as well as protecting your chain from the elements. With an 8 speed Shimano Nexus internal hub gear system, you're guaranteed performance without the maintenance associated with a conventional chain. Perfect for commuters who want reliable performance.
The Bosch Active Line Plus motor offers assistance wihen you need it with a maximum torque of 50Nm, as well as very quiet operation. Now there is no hill too high or distance too far. The Intuvia display is conveniently located and easily controllable from the handlebars, displaying current, average and maximum speed amongst other necessary information.
Hydraulic disc brakes are a welcome addition, offering a much higher stopping power than conventional caliper brakes-particularly in wet conditions. You need this when you've got a motor underneath you! Now there is no excuse-ditch the car for the saddle with Gazelle's CityZen.
