The ultimate aero road frameset, now designed for a 2 x electronic drivetrain.
The perfect blend of stiffness and aero performance with added comfort thanks to the improved 30mm tyre clearance, The 3T Due is the 2 x version of the much loved Strada frameset. The Due Team RTP (Ready To Paint) is a blank frameset ready to paint any colour you wish.
Wide Tyre Optimisation: One of the biggest factor's in road bike comfort are the tyres; they provide more compliance than any other part of the bike.
Wider tyres are better at reducing shocks from terrible road surfaces which is why they are the norm on the rough cobbles of Paris Roubaix. In addition, wider tyres offer an advantage on longer rides, reducing the steady drain on a rider's energy level caused by high-frequency road buzz. Aerodynamics are also very important, and wider tyres tend to destroy air flow.
However, The Strada Due is the first aero road frame optimized for wider tyres, so finally you can be fast and comfortable all the time, from the cobbles to the climbs. All day, every day, with one and the same bike.
Double Duty: 3T strongly believe in 1x drivetrains for many riders and situations.
But they also know there are riders and situations where 2x still makes more sense. With the Strada Due, 3T have worked hard to keep the seat tube as narrow as on the original Strada, so that the airflow is disturbed as little as possible by the addition of the front derailleur hanger and the derailleur itself. The Strada Due is only compatible with electronic drivetrains.
Without limitation, it is compatible with all SRAM eTap and Shimano Di2 road groups. For Campagnolo EPS, please note that its seatpost battery is very long, so on smaller sizes, there is a limit to how low you can position the seat before the battery touches the curved part of the seat tube.
Realfast Aerodynamics: At 3T they design for real-world aerodynamics.
This means 3T test at 20mph and 30mph in the wind-tunnel, they also test there bikes with added bottles and other parts for aero optimization.
But most importantly, 3T want to design frames that are fast with modern tyres sizes to give the rider the best results in a real world conditions Please Note: The 3T Strada Due is only compatible with an electric groupset, you cannot run a mechanical groupset on this frame.

The frame is the heart of the bike, a lightweight chassis that the rest of the components are bolted to. Each frame I list will be clearly marked as to it's intended purpose - whether road, MTB, cyclocross or other form of riding. Similarly, I try to include as much information as I can regarding the materials used, such as carbon, alloy or steel, as well as the sizes available and full specification.

3T is a brand synonymous with lightweight road cycling components, such as stems, bars and seatposts. Founded in 1961, 3T (Tecnologia del Tubo Torino - or Turin Tube Technology) was initially named 3TTT, and is situated near Milano in a city called Bergamo, in Northern Italy. As the name suggests, initially their products were made with metal - steel to be precise - as the founder Mario Dedioniggi specialised in working with this material. By 1970, steel was replaced by the increasingly popular alloy, in order to save weight without sacrificing performance. 5 years later the famous Superleggera handlebar was born, weighing just 250g, which at the time was believed to be the lightest handlebar on the market. It was constructed from 7075 aluminium alloy, which was usually reserved for aerospace industries.
Over the years 3T has provided components for victorious Tour de France, Olympic, World Championships and successful World Hour Record attempts. In 1984 Moser pushed past the 50km barrier in his hour attempt using a 3T bar, eventually setting a new record of 51.151km. In recent years Ryder Hesjedal won the 2013 Giro d'Italia on a 3T equipped bike. In the MTB world, Nicolas Vouilloz won his 3rd Downhill World Championships whilst riding with a 3T bar. Nowadays 3T produce components in carbon fibre, as well as having cheaper lightweight alloy ranges for those on a budget.
