Van Rysel EDR AF Ultegra Endurance Road Bike
The EDR AF Ultegra is a machine that combines reliability and performance.
The big brother of the EDR AF 105, it features an endurance aluminium frame of variable thickness, the reliability of the Ultegra groupset, and the aerodynamics of Fulcrum Racing wheels.
Frame: New Van Rysel aluminium frame (AF) with variable thickness to lighten the frame as much as possible. Aluminium is the perfect material for getting a good balance of propulsion and comfort. The frame has an endurance geometry (EDR) which allows you to tackle long distances with maximum comfort.
We have chosen to leave the cables on the outside of the frame for easier maintenance and replacement of cables and housings. The frame is UCI-approved.
Fork: Carbon and aluminium Van Rysel fork.
A perfect choice for precision steering and performance at a reasonable price. Simple pivot brake for a biting brake.

Drive train: Shimano Ultegra R8000 11-speed drivetrain. Shimano Ultegra R8000 double front derailleur.
Shimano Ultegra R8000 GS 11-speed rear derailleur. Shimano BB RS500 Bottom Bracket.
Crankset / cassette: Shimano Ultegra R8000 50x34.
Crank length varies according to size of bike: S: 170 mm, M: 172.5 mm, L: 175mm. Shimano Ultegra 11S 11x32 cassette (11/12/13/14/16/18/20/22/25/28/32).
WHEELS: Fulcrum Racing 4 aluminium wheels, 1725g per pair.
These aero wheels have a 35mm high profile and are extremely versatile. Rim with 17C internal width. 23mm width can accommodate tyres from 25 to 50mm.
The frame is approved for tyres up to 28 mm. Aero spokes. Aluminium hub.
TYRES: A balance between lightness and durability thanks to its Kevlar (R) reinforcement. HDF>5.2 (R) rubber concept which combines grip and longevity (5.1 = pure performance, 5.3 = longevity). Tyre weight = around 190g - Flex bead.
BRAKES: Shimano Ultegra R8000 brakes.
Handlebar / stem / steering: The compact 6061 T6 aluminium VanRysel handlebar is sized to the bike. The handlebar weighs 320 g in size 420 mm.
End-end width: XS, S 400mm, M, L 420mm, XL 440mm. VR oversize aluminium stem. Weight of 140g in size 110mm.
Length. XS 80mm, S 90mm, M 100mm, L 110mm, XL 120mm. Sealed bearings; diameter is 1 1/8" at the top and 1 1/4" at the bottom.
Saddles / Seat Post: VanRysel Sport 900 saddle, chosen for its comfort and efficiency.
