RockShox SID World Cup Solo Air Boost MTB Forks

The RockShox SID fork is the most successful fork ever released by RockShox.

It has guided pro riders to more international victories and Olympic gold medals than any other fork out there and its sole purpose in racing is to achieve success. Fine Tuneable Performance The SID World Cup's main weight saving is thanks to a 1-piece carbon steerer and crown, which also provides the ultimate stiffness and responsiveness. When combined with Boost technology, this version of the SID World Cup can run wider tyres that increases traction, stability and grip.

The Boost standard uses a wider and stiffer axle to wheel interface, which improves the handling even further. The suspension travel has fine compression adjustment and has been designed to achieve the perfect balance between rigidity, speed and weight. Precise steering characteristics and enhanced damping performance are achieved thanks to the optimised Charger 2 damper.

Every part of this forks' design is focused on winning and history has proven that it does so very well.

RockShox Forks

RockShox are one of mountain biking's most iconic brands, primarily known for suspension forks and rear shocks, but in recent years releasing suspension seatpost and dropper posts too. Founded in 1989 in the boom of the mountain biking scene, their first fork was the RS-1, which was followed throughout the nineties with the RockShox Mag, Quadra, Judy and Indy ranges. This success continued in 1998 with the lightweight SID models, and the heavy duty downhill Boxxer ranges. Due to competition from Fox, Marzocchi, RST and Manitou, sales slowed, and the company was taken over by SRAM in 2002, and has since thrived, with the Reverb Dropper post a common sight on mountain bikes worldwide.
