RockShox Pike RCT DebonAir Boost MTB Forks

The now legendary Pike forks have made a return, this time with clearance for super-wide 27.5"x2.8" tyres and loaded with the very best of RockShox's technologies.

They offer super-smooth performance and awesome handling. The completely reimagined Pike is the fork that's ushering in a new era in suspension performance and is a completely different type of trail fork. Its design meant walking all over the current engineering doctrine along the way.

Designed specifically for new-school trail riders, its new Charger 2 damper helps them to ride high in the travel where it's the plushest. Its industry redefining asymmetric approach to chassis design delivers an unparalleled stiffness to travel to weight ratio that will have other engineers playing catch up for years. Offering a wider range of adjustments than ever before, the Pike RCT3 features a redesigned travel curve to better match RockShox's rear shocks.

This ensures more efficient small bump sensitivity, pedalling and handling. The introduction of the Boost (TM) standard has not only increased the stiffness for more precise handling, it allows a massive tyre clearance of up to 2.8" wide. This means when you come to a tricky section, rather than slowing down to pick a line, you can just roll through it! Plus, with RockShox's Rapid Recovery (TM) technology onboard, the forks are ready to absorb successive hits.

RockShox Forks

RockShox are one of mountain biking's most iconic brands, primarily known for suspension forks and rear shocks, but in recent years releasing suspension seatpost and dropper posts too. Founded in 1989 in the boom of the mountain biking scene, their first fork was the RS-1, which was followed throughout the nineties with the RockShox Mag, Quadra, Judy and Indy ranges. This success continued in 1998 with the lightweight SID models, and the heavy duty downhill Boxxer ranges. Due to competition from Fox, Marzocchi, RST and Manitou, sales slowed, and the company was taken over by SRAM in 2002, and has since thrived, with the Reverb Dropper post a common sight on mountain bikes worldwide.
