RockShox Bluto RL Solo Air Forks

The Bluto, apologetically fat.

You've probably observed more and more riders are on bikes that look "different" on your trails. Bikes that have wheels and tires of gigantic proportion - and we're not talking about 29ers here. The thing is, even though fat bikes were created to float on top of snow, they're just too damn fun not to ride on dirt.

So how do amplify your fat bike adventures even further? With a supercharged, ultra efficient, first of its kind fat suspension fork called Bluto.

We started with the features you've come to love from RockShox: Fast Black aluminum upper tubes, stout 15mm Maxle, remote or crown adjustable damping, tapered steer tube, and the infinitely tunable Solo Air spring. Then, the chassis got the fat treatment by reengineering it to meet the unique needs of fat tires and wheels.

Everything from crown, to arch, to axle has been optimized to tackle the increased torsional loads of its wide stance. With more traction and control than ever before, you'll never be happier you went fat. Available in 80, 100 and 120mm travel options to fine-tune the ride for your style and terrain.

OneLoc compatibility. New refined cable-remote spool simplifies cable installation and maintenance. Updated graphic package to complement the RockShox lineup.

RockShox Forks

RockShox are one of mountain biking's most iconic brands, primarily known for suspension forks and rear shocks, but in recent years releasing suspension seatpost and dropper posts too. Founded in 1989 in the boom of the mountain biking scene, their first fork was the RS-1, which was followed throughout the nineties with the RockShox Mag, Quadra, Judy and Indy ranges. This success continued in 1998 with the lightweight SID models, and the heavy duty downhill Boxxer ranges. Due to competition from Fox, Marzocchi, RST and Manitou, sales slowed, and the company was taken over by SRAM in 2002, and has since thrived, with the Reverb Dropper post a common sight on mountain bikes worldwide.
