Ridley Dean 105 Mix Carbon Time Trial Road Bike 2019

Ridley have created a highly-competitive bike that produces speed without compromising comfort allowing you to get the most out of your body by tailoring your fit using their hi-tech integration system, ranging from fully adjustable aero cockpit to seatpost meaning even during ultra-endurance events such as Ironman triathlons you'll remain aerodynamically efficient and comfortable while still being able to produce all the power you need to beat your PBs.

The Ridley Dean frameset is constructed from 30/20-ton high-modulus carbon fibre layup and has been cleverly engineered to produce an aero TT frame that's light, stiff and responsive while being comfortable at the same time making it ideal for longer time trails and triathlon events.

With aerodynamics at the top of the design brief Ridley have included their F-Surface concept to the Dean by applying a textured surface (similar to grooves in a golf ball) in strategic locations for decreased wind drag, these grooves create a tiny amount of turbulence which causes the main flow of air to better follow the shape of the tube. With a smooth air travel around the frame, you'll expertly cut through wind. The stronger the wind, the more you will feel this technology working for you.

Every detail of the Dean has been carefully considered and refined. For example Ridley have opted for standard road bike dropouts on both sides of the bike that can be easily swapped out for other dropouts of varying sizes, this allows you to easily switch tire sizes while keeping your rear wheel nicely tucked into the back of the seat tube at all times. Ridley have incorporated internal cable routing to further reduce the Dean's drag while still considering ease of use with cable routing that is simple for quick cable changes as well as maintenance.

The Ridley Dean 105 mix features a great specification consisting of a reliable, precise shifting Shimano 105 R7000 mix 11-speed groupset combined with an FSA Omega chainset and fast-rolling Forza RC31 wheels.
