Designed and developed in line with the exact needs of cycling adventurers and bikepackers, the Nexus is full of features for long days in the saddle.
The Polaris Nexus Short takes its name from the famous original Polaris Nexus Short developed back in 2004. The high-quality Calico blend fabric, TMF gender specific tailored Italian chamois and deep silicon gripper all ensure maximum comfort and durability in all conditions. Storage is also catered for on the Nexus Ride Short with a zip fastening pocket at the rear for key valuables as well as two power mesh side pockets on the legs.
These are ideal for storing gels and food or tools for quick access. The Polaris Nexus Short is finished with reflective trim, to ensure you don't get caught in low light conditions. Polyester/Elastane Calvico fabric helps maintain fit for long hour in saddle.
TMF gender-specific pad designed for long hours in the saddle. Wide silicon elastic gripper to hold hem in place without marking legs. Zip fastening rear pocket for storing valuables while riding.
Reflective piping to rear side seams for improved visiblity in low light.

Polaris Bike Wear was founded in the early 1990s by Roger Dillon, named after the Pole Star. It's aim was to provide technical Mountain Bike clothing suitable for British weather and riding. He taught himself to sew, began designing his first range and thus the brand was born. Based in Derbyshire, Polaris distributes it's ranges to most major European countries, such as Spain, Germany and France, as well as numerous worldwide. As a brand, Polaris is also known for the groundbreaking and popular Polaris Challenge, a two day event combining Mountain Biking and Orienteering. The aim of this unique event is to gain points for navigating to set check points, with a fixed time limit to reach the finish. The individuals and teams with the most points (minus time penalties) are declared the victors. Polaris are also known for supporting worthwhile causes and charities, with examples including Project Enduro and Children In Need.
