This outstanding performance is due to the top-level Toray T1100 1k Dream Carbon Nano-Alloy Technology used in its creation, which is a Pinarello-exclusive material. This manufacturing technology has a phenomenal stiffness to weight ratio and is commonly used as the outer-skin of modern high-end aircraft where strength, stability and weight are most important.

Superb Strength and Stiffness at a Lower-Weight Maintaining the hugely successful Dogma frame geometry, strength and race winning dominance, the XLight was refined to save weight without sacrificing performance. Using a new advanced carbon fibre lay-up, this frame went through the same tuning the testing by the Jaguar's CFD (Computational Fluid Dynamics) technology to enhance this already World Class frameset design. Plus, this version retains the Flatback frame tubing found on the standard F8, which virtually eliminates drag and slices through the air with even greater efficiency than ever before.

Also, this race-optimised design complies with the UCI 3:1 tube profiling restrictions and is ready for any blast towards the podium. Electronic Shimano Di2 and Campagnolo EPS Drivetrain Compatible This lightweight champion features all the additional performance-enhancing PinarelloLAB technologies that were applied to standard Dogma F8. Its water bottle mounts are placed lower down the frame for reduced drag and its internal cable routing is optimised for greater aerodynamic efficiency.

Plus, this frame is fully compatible with mechanical and electronic drivetrains and its Air8 seatpost integrates perfectly with both Shimano Di2 or Campagnolo EPS battery units.
