Our entry level 650b hardtail is no exception, it uses a sophisticated TFS frame with the latest technology, full internal cable routing, tapered headtube and inboard disc brake mounts.
There's no point making a bombproof frame and then hanging poor components on it.
Despite the entry price point we load the Big Seven 15D with as much Shimano componentry as we can due to its reliability.
Frame: TFS - 6061 series aluminium tubing, double butted and technoformed. Tapered head tube.
Inboard chain stay mounted disc brake. Internal cable routing and mounts for mudguards and kick stands.
Fork: Suntour XCT30; Coil; 100mm travel.
Headset: Merida M2345.
Stem: Merida CC; aluminium; 31.8mm diameter; 6 degree rise - Length : 70 mm-S, 80 mm-M, 90 mm-L, 100 mm-XL, 110 mm-XXL.
Bars: Merida CC; aluminium; 690mm wide; 15mm rise.
Front Brake: Shimano BR-MT200 (or Tektro HD-M275) hydraulic brake caliper with Shimano RT10; 160mm rotor.
Rear Brake: Shimano BR-MT200 (or Tektro HD-M275) hydraulic brake caliper with Shimano RT10; 160mm rotor.
