Mavic XA Matryx Shoes
Combining some of the most effective materials on the market, the versatile and technologically advanced XA Matryx (R) Off Road Shoe from Mavic is complete support for your feet as you ride.
Climb higher and faster than ever before thanks to Mavic and their exceptional XA Matryx (R) Off Road Shoe. It's made with an enormously durable Kevlar (R) -nylon blend for toughness that doesn't feel too stiff, and still allows for plenty of breathability to get through to coolly ventilate when you need it most. The use of an Endofit Tongue works to hug the feet in all the right places, a cushioned EVA midsole feels sumptuous against your feet and a minimalist lacing allows you to find the right fit with a single pull.
Flawless levels of comfort aren't all the XA Matryx (R) has to offer, and the high level of performance make a fantastic difference as you walk or ride even variable terrain. The Energy Grip Trail Outsole with Contragrip tread does a superb job of adding stability and pedal control to the mix, as well as being 25% more grippy across wet surfaces. A removable cleat plate on the outsole allows you to switch from wheels to walking in an instant, and a rigid internal plate ensures that energy transfer is efficient and effective.
Finally, a moulded toe cap keeps your feet perfectly protected. Energy Grip Trail Outsole offers stability and pedal control so you can ride harder. New Contagrip tread offers superb traction and durability and is 25% more grippy in the wet and dry than the leading competitor.
Rigid internal plate delivers efficient pedaling performance but is also flexible enough for walking. Comfortable stiffness index IET60/ 100. Removable cleat plate to switch from flat to clip-in pedals.
Matryx (R), a patented technology made with Kevlar (R) and polyamide, provides outstanding abrasion resistance and superior breathability. Molded toe cap for better protection. Endofit Tongue hugs the foot in just the right places for maximum comfort.
