Gore C7 GTX I Bibs
The C7 GTX Bib Shorts+ from Gore Wear bring together a race-focused fit and Gore-tex Infinium (TM) to create shorts with impressive wind protection, water-resistance and extreme levels of breathability.
Racing and training in cold and wet weather is tough, however, having high-performance cycling kit such as the C7 GTX Bib Shorts+ goes a long way to make it far more palatable and give you the impetus to get yourself out when the weather is wet. The key to the performance of the C7 GTX is the use of Gore-tex Infinium (TM) , this fabric keeps you drier for longer as water, rather than soaking in, beads on the surface and this, when combined with its windproof characteristic, optimises warmth and comfort. Taped seams used in the construction also contribute to the overall water-resistance.
Not only is Infinium (TM) protective it's extremely breathable too, vital to minimise wind chill and this makes the shorts perfect for those rides and races where the pace and intensity generate lots of perspiration. With an integrated mesh base layer upper you'll enjoy sweat-free comfort of the torso too. The shorts also feature a top quality pad, the EXPERT ROAD seat insert with Gore (R) Windstopper (R) Cup, a highly supportive seat pad with extra windproof protection for sensitive areas.
While they're race-focused shorts they're also practical too, with two rear pockets in the upper base layer providing extra storage space for the hardest of days in the saddle. Reflective details also enhance visibility, particularly important as dark storm clouds loom large. GORE-TEX INFINIUM (TM) garment with GORE (R) WINDSTOPPER (R) product technology.
EXPERT ROAD seat insert with GORE (R) WINDSTOPPER (R) Cup. Integrated mesh baselayer keeps you warm and sweat free. Outward facing zip on baselayer to keep zip away from skin.
Two rear pockets integrated into baselayer. Wide and flat gripper elastic at thigh provides secure fit. Reflective details on all sides for 360 degree visibility.
Main (with Windstopper membrane): 92% Polyester, 8% Elastane (Spandex).
Shell: 92% Polyester, 8% Elastane (Spandex).

Gore Bib Shorts
Gore, or Gore Bike Wear as the cycling range is called, is a manufacturer of high end cycling clothing. Founded in 1985, it's first product was the Giro jacket, which offered wind and waterproofing as well as being breathable, together with the lengthened back cycle specific design. Two years later the Superconfex team (which will eventually become Rabobank) used this garment at the 1987 Tour de France. In 1992 Gore introduced the Windstopper, with jerseys and tights coming the following year. By 1996 they had settled on their now distinctive minimalist logo, and ever since they have strived to launch performance cycling wear suitable for professionals and serious recreational riders alike.
