Mjolir chromoly was selected for the frames construction for its unbelievable strength to weight ratio and super trail smoothing abilities. The High Latitude has also seen the introduction of a larger travel 120mm fork for 2016 and what better way to compliment the new frame than with a premium offering of the fantastic SR Suntour Aion fork. With 34mm stanchions and featuring the range topping W/RC cartridge featuring low speed compression,rebound,air pressure and all new 2016 modular internal air volume adjustment spacer.

The High Latitude comes with the all new 11 speed Shimano XT drivetrain which provides a reliable and smooth running drivetrain and the inclusion of the Shimano BR-M395 hydraulic disc brakes bring an unparalleled level of braking confidence and power. The fast rolling Tubeless Ready Alex Rims iron out the trails and paired with the Maxxis High Roller II and Ardent tyre combo they deliver immense levels of traction. The High Latitude is completed with the inclusion of a Genesis finishing kit of bars, stem, and saddle which looks great and adds comfort no matter how many miles you ride it! The Kind Shock Dropzone dropper seatpost with integrated lever offers a nice balance of affordability, weight, performance and long term reliability often missing from dropper seatposts.

All in all the High Latitude is one serious mile muncher with a new geometry which captures the essence of playful manoeuvrability you've come to expect and love from Genesis.
