Fox Rampage Pro Carbon Full Face MTB Helmet
Fox Rampage Pro Carbon Full Face MTB Helmet
Fox Rampage Pro Carbon Full Face Helmet
The all-new Rampage Pro Carbon helmet (RPC) is a heavily evolved design featuring an ultra-ventilated design and two rotational management systems. Developed with direct input from our elite downhill MTB and freeride athletes, this flagship helmet offers the most complete levels of performance and protection we have ever offered in a gravity helmet. The RPC helmet demonstrates a bias for comfort and safety. New is the revolutionary Fluid Inside (R) technology which mimics your body's natural cerebral spinal fluid to manage both linear and rotational impact energy. The Magnetic Visor Release System (MVRS) adds an additional layer of rotational management by purposely detaching from the helmet in the event of a crash. Under the light and robust Multi-Composite Technology shell is a dual-density EPS, meant to provide improved impact protection. This arsenal of helmet tech is paired with a luxury interior which features 19 expansive vents and a premium X-static (R) moisture-wicking comfort liner. Linear Impact: Most helmets are designed to protect against skull fractures and intracranial hemorrhaging from impacts associated with high linear forces. The challenge is to protect across the full range of linear forces. Fluid displacement & foam compression improves both high and low linear energy absorption. Rotational Force:These rotational forces on the soft brain tissue are strongly implicated in concussive brain injuries, and therefore must be effectively managed in order to design a truly safer helmet. Low shear Fluid allows the helmet to rotate relative to the head and improve rotational energy absorption. The first MTB helmet with two rotational management systems: Fluid Inside (TM) & MVRS (TM). Fluid Inside (TM) ensures optimal linear and rotational impact performance. Magnetic Visor Release System (MVRS) allows the visor to detach during a crash. Dual-density Varizorb (TM) EPS liner is meant to provide improved impact protection. CAGE (TM) chin bar/eye port is intended to improve energy management in the event of an impact. MCT (Multi-Composite Technology) shell provides an excellent balance of strength & weight. Mesh vent screens provide airflow while maintaining protection from dirt and debris. 19 total vents - 15 intake & 4 exhaust vents to channel cool air in and hot air out. Removable, washable X-static (R) moisture-wicking & antimicrobial comfort liner. 3 shell sizes & 4 EPS sizes for the best in class fit. Stainless steel D-ring closure. Includes zippered helmet bag. Weight: 1230g in a size M (+-50g). Fit: New streamlined fit: Our minimum offset design (M.O.D.) allows a closer more precise fit. The result is a streamlined profile which reduces the overall size of the helmet without sacrificing performance or safety. Note: When you first put on your new RPC, it will fit snugly and may even feel a bit too tight. With time, the helmet will adapt to your head, "break-in", and loosen a little.

Fox Racing is a Californian brand synonymous with motocross and primarily gravity based cycling disciplines such as Downhill, 4X and Enduro Mountain Biking. Founded in 1974 (and taking it's name from) Geoff Fox, it began life as a US motocross distribution centre for European parts. Within two years, Fox began manufacturing it's own brand parts, and shortly afterwards formed it's own motocross race team to showcase this range. Success on the track led to demand for it's products, and enabled Fox to grow, and eventually move into the MTB market in the nineties. To date Fox have over 40 national victories in MX, as well as many successful MTB riders competing using their products. Their iconic fox head logo features on their MTB component ranges (such as suspension forks and rear shocks) as well as being perceived as a lifestyle fashion brand with hoodies, caps and other casual apparel.
