Castelli Vista Women's Knickers
It's like getting a big head start. The Castelli Women's Vista Knicker is Castelli's entry-level short, but it's a shame to think of it that way. It could almost be a top-of-the-line short considering the components, fabrics and engineering that have gone into it. The seat pad is the women's-specific version of the Kiss Air pad. The Pro Dry two-layer fabric has 15% polyester on the inside to help actively move moisture to the nylon outer layer. The 19% elastane/spandex provides excellent stretch, which together with the six-panel construction gives this short fantastic fit. They've concentrated on two critical places to improve comfort and applied their cross-wrap construction to the waist and leg endings for a softer and stretchier way to achieve a comfortable fit. On the leg endings, they've added reflective tape around the back for increased visibility. Maybe you should just think of it as a great deal on a top-level short. Fabric New Pro Dry Soft 2-layer fabric provides exceptional moisture management. Construction 6-panel construction for anatomic fit. Cross-wrap leg elastic with silicone strip keeps leg in place. Padding KISS Air seat pad for all-day comfort. Reflectivity Reflective tape on back of leg. Upper Dual-layer cross-wrap comfort waistband.

Cycling Tights are essentially a skin tight full length cycling trouser, which can include a padded chamois. They do not include shoulder straps (these garments are known as bib tights) but instead stay in place due to a drawstring or similar attachment. They're handy for short journeys in colder weather, as they help keep your legs warm but are much easier to get changed into than bibs, as you don't need to remove your top layers to put them on. My cycling tights section has a selection of reduced garments listed in order of discount, so hopefully you can save yourself some cash on your next set of tights.

Castelli has a rich history as one of the iconic cycling brands, primarily specialising in high end road clothing. Founded by Vittore Gianni in 1876, initially as a tailor shop in Milan, it diversified to include cycling clothing in 1910, for riders such as Alfredo Binda. In 1935 Armando Castelli joined the company, purchasing it 4 years later. Shortly afterwards it began supplying riders such as Gino Bartali and Fausto Coppi. By 1975, it was rebranded to Castelli, featuring the iconic scorpion logo, and shortly afterwards produced many revolutionary clothing products, such as the first lycra cycling shorts, windproof jerseys and thermal cycling clothing. To this day, the brand is synonymous with performance cycle wear, and together with Santini, they supply some of the greatest ex and current cyclists on the planet.
