The close aero fit ensures no wasted energy, while two rear pockets add extra storage for long days in the saddle.
Castelli uses Gore (R) Windstopper (R) X-Lite Plus on the front and shoulders of the Team Sky Perfetto Vest, giving reliable weather protection, keeping out wind and shrugging off showers.
This is combined with Nano Flex Light on the back that also gives water repellency but is primarily used to provide a high level of breathability and enabling them to achieve an extremely aero fit. The neck is cut high to seal out cold breezes and a full-length zipper, complete with rear storm flap, makes controlling ventilation quick and easy. Lastly, the addition of reflective trim on the back adds extra visibility when light levels drop.
