The Castelli Ladies Mitica Jacket is a mid-weight garment focused on giving you warmth and breathability for the transitional months of the year when the weather isn't too extreme, neither too hot or too cold.
The Ladies Mitica Jacket makes use of Gore (R) Windstopper (R) X-Mid fabric to provide an effective barrier against cooler temperatures and cold winds, but has the high level of breathability you need when temperatures improve or you want to pick the speed up. Overdressing when it's cool can often lead to a cold body due to sweat build up and so by making this jacket relatively light and highly breathable Castelli ensures you'll enjoy greater comfort in those hard to dress for in-between seasons of autumn and spring. The fit of the Mitica is slim, with a cut that is more jersey like than a jacket, with a slightly shorter length designed for more aggressive riding positions but still the mobility when you're in and out of the saddle.
A simple high collar seals in warmth across the chest, while sleek sleeve openings complete this sleek and versatile jacket.

Castelli Jackets
Castelli has a rich history as one of the iconic cycling brands, primarily specialising in high end road clothing. Founded by Vittore Gianni in 1876, initially as a tailor shop in Milan, it diversified to include cycling clothing in 1910, for riders such as Alfredo Binda. In 1935 Armando Castelli joined the company, purchasing it 4 years later. Shortly afterwards it began supplying riders such as Gino Bartali and Fausto Coppi. By 1975, it was rebranded to Castelli, featuring the iconic scorpion logo, and shortly afterwards produced many revolutionary clothing products, such as the first lycra cycling shorts, windproof jerseys and thermal cycling clothing. To this day, the brand is synonymous with performance cycle wear, and together with Santini, they supply some of the greatest ex and current cyclists on the planet.
