2017 Cannondale Touring Ultimate Ultegra Touring Bike
The Cannondale Touring Ultimate is confident and stable when loaded with all your equipment, but ride it without and it's an agile and engaging bike that just happens to be versatile.
Key to Cannondale's fantastic bikes is their excellence at manipulating Aluminium into doing what they want.
The SmartFormed Alloy frame is designed with Cannondale's SAVE micro-suspension system built in, allowing a small amount of vertical flex which takes the sting out of potholes and rough-hewn road surfaces. Available with two different wheel sizes, the Cannondale Touring Ultimate 700c uses a traditional 700c wheel with a large circumference that helps smooth out the road, available in sizes 54cm and above. The smaller wheeled 650C model uses smaller wheels on the size 48 and 51cm frames, bestowing the bike with quicker acceleration and more agile handling.
Ideal for smaller riders when your long-distance ride takes a turn down the road less travelled. With a 2x11 speed Shimano Ultegra 6800 groupset and RS785 hydraulic disc brakes, the Cannondale Touring Ultimate has a wide range of gears for any road you go down, along with powerful all-weather braking that can take the strain of a heavily weighted bike.
