THE STORY OF THE XC 100.: Designed and created entirely in France at the B'Twin Village (Lille), this mountain bike is the fruit of the labours of an expert team of passionate cross-country mountain bikers.

For greater comfort, the women on our mountain bike team recommend replacing the saddle with the Women's 500 Sport saddle, which is adapted to women's bodies.

CHOOSING YOUR MOUNTAIN BIKE SIZE: Several sizes available:.

S: between 1.50m and 1.64m.

M: between 1.65m and 1.74m.

L: between 1.75m and 1.84m.

XL: between 1.85m and 1.95m.

If you are on the edge between 2 sizes, we recommend following the exact size listed.

Frame: The stiff, lightweight Rockrider XC frame has optimised geometry for physical performance. It was designed with shorter bases to leave space for wide tyres.

Made of triple butted 6061 and 6013 aluminium. Lifetime warranty on the Switch And Ride frame, single chainwheel only. 148mm x 12mm rear axle.

Press Fit 92 bottom bracket. 31.6 mm diameter saddle tube.

Compatible with double bottle cage (except in size S).Weight in size S: 1.5 kg.

Front suspension: To overcome any obstacles you encounter, the Manitou Markhor Air fork and its 100mm travel will always be there for you. Quickly lock and unlock the fork with the 2-position Combo Lock locking system on the handlebars. Suspension compatible with 27.5" and 27.5" PLUS wheels.

Rear suspension: This mountain bike has no rear suspension.

Drive train: The XC100 is inaugurating the new range of SRAM NX EAGLE drive trains. The SRAM NX 1x12 drive train ensures light weight, durability, precision, and better control of your mountain bike.

Chainwheel size: 34 teeth.

SRAM PG1230 cassette with 12 cogs: 11, 13, 15, 17, 19, 22, 25, 28, 32, 36, 42, 50 teeth.

The 50-tooth sprocket guarantees good gear reduction to help you climb the steepest sections Handlebar / Stem / Steering / Grips: Keep stable and find your attack position.

Rockrider Comp Flat handlebar is 720 mm wide for more stability. The B'Twin Comp stem is adapted to the size (60mm in size S, 70mm in size M, 80mm in size L, and 90mm in size XL). Semi-integrated headset with sealed bearings.

Lightweight, "lock on" style Rockrider 900 grips screw onto the handlebars SADDLE / SEAT POST: Enjoy greater comfort when pedalling. The Rockrider XC/AM saddle weighs 265 g. Now reinforcements and Ergofit system for greater comfort.

The 31.6 x 400 seat post is compatible with the telescoping post.

BRAKES: SRAM Level hydraulic disc brakes with a 180 mm front disc and 160 mm rear disc.

WHEELS: 29" SWITCH & RIDE wheels: choose speed and inertia! Sun Ringle Duroc 30 SRC Tubeless Ready wheels, with Boost axles, 15 mm at the front and 12 mm at the rear.

Inner rim width: 30 mm. Watertight bearings. Equipped with a watertight rim strip that is Tubeless Ready compatible.

To switch to tubeless: add a Tubeless valve, preventative liquid, and replace the original tyre with the same model in Tubeless Ready (available in Decathlon stores).

TYRES: Grip and move over all types of terrain. 29 x 2.10 Hutchinson TORO 2 tyres.

Versatile tyre designed for rides on all types of terrain: smooth, rocky, dry, muddy. Special studs to optimise steering, and sufficiently well spaced out so that they don't get clogged with mud when riding on muddy ground. High side knobs for good grip in the turns.

Pedals: The bike is supplied with B'Twin Flat Pro platform pedals. However, for better pedalling performance, we recommend replacing them with platform clipless pedals (not included).

EASILY TRANSPORT AND STORE YOUR MOUNTAIN BIKE: The front and rear wheels attach and remove in 1 motion: you just need a hex key (size 6).

The rear derailleur has a screed that locks and unlocks easily to easily attach or remove the rear wheel.

Weight : 11.9kg in size S, without pedals. 12.1 kg in size M, without pedals.

12.3 kg in size L, without pedals. 12.5 kg in size XL, without pedals. Weight can vary based on the tolerance of the components.

The bike is supplied with B'Twin Flat Pro platform pedals. The total weight (bike + rider) should not exceed 120kg.

It is compatible with 3 different wheel sizes: 27.5", 29", and 27.5" Plus. Multiply your experiences with the same frame and components. With the 3 "ready to ride" wheel kits available in Decathlon stores, you have 3 bikes and 3 different experiences! This mountain bike can hold two bottle cages (except size S).

CYCLOMETER/GPS MOUNT: This ROCKRIDER XC 100 MTB is fitted with our exclusive cyclometer mount. This mount is compatible with Garmin or Sigma cyclometers/GPS which don't require additional fittings for your headset.

B'Twin Bikes

B'Twin are a popular choice of bike in the UK, partly due to their widespread distribution by Decathlon, and partly due to the value they offer. Their bikes are divided into several slightly overlapping ranges, with Triban best known for road and gravel bikes, and Rockrider gaining a reputation for high performing MTBs to suit every budget. Elops largely consist of a range of city bikes, whereas Riverside focus on hybrids. All in all, B'Twin bikes are well worth checking out given the size of their ranges; there's a model to suit most budgets.

Rockrider Mountain Bikes

Rockrider are Decathlon's off-road offerings, comprising of a series of kids bikes and adult hardtails, full suspension steeds and even a handful of high end E-MTBs.

This brand was launched in 2018, when Decathlon decided to split their B'Twin bikes into different genres. In terms of prices, there's something for everyone, with adult's MTBs starting at just over £200 and rising up to high end lightweight race bikes at nearly the £4000 mark.
