The Blackburn Outpost Rear Rack is Blackburns heavy duty rear rack and is ideal if you are looking for more storage options or looking at going on a lengthy cycling tour.
The rack uses the traditional mounting methods of the eyelets at the bottom of your Seat Stays or on your chainstays. The rack can fit onto bikes with a rear disc brake and can cater for most bikes with wheel sizes from 26'', 650lbs, 700c and or 29''. Check your frames compatibility before purchasing as different sizes and shapes of frame from different manufacturers may not work.
The Max load that the rack should be carrying is 20.5 kg. Made using Easton Scandium, the rugged Outpost Rear rack is one of the lightest of it's kind. The weight savings does not mean that Blackburn sacrificed ease of installation, fit or the stability that is gained from low rider mounting.
