Created for the heat of summer and those fast-flowing, dusty trails we all love, the Alpinestars Alps 6.0 Short Sleeve Jersey is lightweight, breathable and has a relaxed fit to let you move and manoeuvre easily.
An advanced polyester blend makes all the difference when it comes to the Alpinestars Alps 6.0 Short Sleeve Jersey, featuring plenty of stretch to give you the best mountain bike ready fit possible. You're free to move in four different directions at once, allowing your body to move with the twists and turns of a life off-road, while the material used also features a quick-dry treatment to help wick sweat away from the body before you even notice it starting to build up; all wrapped up in a durable package with a clean, simple design that won't fade with use and washing. Helping to support that moisture wicking with an astonishing level of ventilation are the subtle mesh inserts on the back and under the arms, which ensure you always have decent, clean airflow around your body to keep you cool when the ride starts to heat up.
An antibacterial finish keeps you feeling fresh even after a full day of riding, and a slightly extended area at the rear lumbar keeps you perfectly covered. Constructed from an advanced polyester melange textile for improved durability and colour fastness and to promote high levels of moisture-wicking. Fabric features quick-dry treatment for comfort and improved antibacterial performance.
Main shell incorporates four-way stretch fibres for excellent levels of flex, comfort and fit. Mesh panel inserts on the back and underarms for high levels of inner ventilation. Extended rear lumbar area for extended coverage.
Sublimated fade-resistant graphics. 100% Polyester.

Founded in 1963 in Asolo in Italy by Sante Mazzarolo, Alpinestars began life as a hiking and ski boot manufacturer, which diversified to include motocross and road racing ranges shortly after. Incidentally, the name derives from the English translation of the flower Stella Alpina, which was local to the Italian company's headquarters. The company have sponsored numerous motorcycle word champions, such as DeCoster, Roberts, Doohan and Marquez. It wasn't until the 90's when the company began to produce non footwear products for riders, such as gloves and jackets. Their history in cycling began in the early 90s with a range of mountain bikes, which featured a distinctive raised chainstay, which followed on through the seat tube and attached onto the downtube for strength and stiffness. This range ceased in 1996, but to this day Alpinestars produce ranges of clothing and protective gear for mountain bikers. In 2004, Alpinstars concentrated on the gravity based disciplines of off-roading, and the following year had success with Greg Minnaar winning the UCI DH World Cup.
Currently employing nearly 500 staff worldwide, their products have been tried and tested at the highest level. For more information on their cycling products please visit http://www.alpinestars.com/cycling, or to find out more about Alpinestars, please visit their article on Wikipedia.
