Get it while you can. Prime Performance The Ladies Prime Floral Limited Edition Shorts are the ideal choice for cyclists who are pushing their riding further and faster and building up fitness for sportives and racing, while still having a keen eye on great value. The key to their comfort is the use of compact Lycra fabric throughout the legs.
This high-quality stretch fabric gently compresses the muscles to encourage blood flow and supports the muscles as you pedal ever longer distances. The multi-panel, anatomic and female-specific fit ensures the miles fly by without a care. Meanwhile, the bib section is made from an extremely elastic micro-mesh fabric, holding the shorts in place with minimal pressure and allowing your skin to breathe as you build up a sweat.
With the construction finished with four-needle flatlock stitching you'll enjoy a smooth and chafe-free fit. Ale Ladies W4HF seat pad Inside the shorts, you'll find Ale's female-specific W4HF seat pad offering luxurious comfort for all your long or short bike rides. It's constructed from elastic micro-fibre with padding strategically positioned in the contact points and features a central relief channel to avoid stress on nerve endings.
For the best comfort and support high-density 8mm deep 90 kg/cm2 padding is used where it's most needed in the ischiadic and perineal zones. This pad gives the very best combination of comfort, wicking, breathability and is also incredibly fast drying to ensure the utmost comfort on the saddle. Anatomic cut.
Reduced panels and seams. Thermo gripper with inner silicone grip. Rear reflective details.
High-performance Ladies W4HF seat pad. 80% Polyester, 20% Elastane (Spandex).

Ale Shorts
Alé (pronounced similar to Allez, and not like Ale) is an Italian clothing brand located in Castel d'Ario, Lombardy, which began life as recent as 2013. It's parent company APG has much experience in manufacturing performance cycle wear since 1986, for companies such as Nike, and kit for teams such as Discovery and Motorola. Sister companies include DMT (cycling shoes) and (Mario) Cipollini bikes, so it's to say they know what they are doing. Their product ranges are aimed at road cyclists, and manufacturing still takes place in Italy, as opposed to using far eastern factories. The colours used in their garments tend to be bright (and possibly a touch garish in some cases!), but have proved popular amongst European cyclists. Wiggle were one of the first retailers in the UK to stock the Alé ranges, which are slowly gaining a reputation for being expensive yet quality garments.
To find out more about Alé, please visit https://www.alecycling.com/en/, or you can read a piece that Cycling Weekly wrote upon visiting their factory in Italy.
