Ale Fusion HD Bibs
The Fusion HD Bib Shorts are Ale's long-distance performers, every detail focused on delivering comfort when the miles start to rack up.
The technical construction and compressive materials offer a sleek fit that won't hold you back. Ale's most technical short, the Fusion HD Bib Shorts bring together their vast experience of creating the finest racewear, material expertise and a range of new construction techniques to give you unrivalled comfort as you tackle the biggest days on the bike. It all starts with the functional fabrics - the side panels use drag Aero G.250 fabric, this is not only slippery through the air it also compresses the muscles to stimulate blood circulation which in turn helps push back fatigue.
Meanwhile, the crotch and seat use Serie C-Boost fabric, a highly durable material and one that resists piling - perfect for high wear areas. The Fusion HD Bib Shorts also have comfort-focused details that really count on a long-distance short. Firstly, the raw cut 'Zero Friction' bib straps, with elastic bonded seams, are incredibly flexible and soft against the skin, in use you should barely know they're there and yet they provide the perfect level of support.
Next is the Evo Stability System, these highly elastic second skin leg hems hold firm, gently compressing the thigh while not exerting excess pressure. These are details that should be unnoticeable when riding - just how it should be - but are vital for luxurious comfort. At the heart of the shorts is Ale's highly regarded Double Ergo HF chamois.
This seat insert has a Bi-component surface in the front and lateral parts in the groin. The high-density 120 kg foam covers the contact point on the saddle (perinea and ischiatic) but it's reduced in the remaining parts to guarantee the minimum bulk and to ensure breathability is optimised. Lateral shaped wings follow the body, adapting to body movement to give a chafe-free pedal stroke, in or out of the saddle.

Ale Bib Shorts
Alé (pronounced similar to Allez, and not like Ale) is an Italian clothing brand located in Castel d'Ario, Lombardy, which began life as recent as 2013. It's parent company APG has much experience in manufacturing performance cycle wear since 1986, for companies such as Nike, and kit for teams such as Discovery and Motorola. Sister companies include DMT (cycling shoes) and (Mario) Cipollini bikes, so it's to say they know what they are doing. Their product ranges are aimed at road cyclists, and manufacturing still takes place in Italy, as opposed to using far eastern factories. The colours used in their garments tend to be bright (and possibly a touch garish in some cases!), but have proved popular amongst European cyclists. Wiggle were one of the first retailers in the UK to stock the Alé ranges, which are slowly gaining a reputation for being expensive yet quality garments.
