Vitus Bikes Nucleus 260 Hardtail MTB
Our aggressive trail geometry has been designed around 26" wheels and a 100mm travel fork; a short headtube and low bottom bracket keep the centre of gravity low to provide improved handling whilst the larger wheel size offers improved performance and handling.
Up front the Suntour XCT forks provide 100mm of coil sprung travel with pre-load adjustment.
Shimano & Suntour Groupset Shimano shifters and derailleurs provide slick performance at entry level pricing; the Suntour XCC triple chainset will provide a wide range of gears that will cope with any ascent the trails can throw at you. Vitus Wheelset & Finishing Kit Vitus provides the wheels and finishing kit for the Nucleus range of bikes. The Nucleus 260 features Vitus alloy disc hubs on Jalco DM25 alloy rims.
Continental Mountain King/X-King tyres provide sure footed handling and low rolling resistance. Finishing kit is supplied by Vitus with our lightweight 6061 alloy stem, bars and seatpost providing high performance components.
