Shimano SLX M670 10sp Triple Chainset
Weighing 905g, the SLX M670 chainset is designed for use with 10 speed MTB gear systems, and is aimed at all round riding use, being a few grams heavier than some of Shimano's racing cranksets. That said, it's still impressively light and stiff, to avoid wasting power. Designed for All-mountain use, the SLX HollowTech II chainset is tough, aggressive yet also lightweight and typically (for Shimano) excellent value. The external Hollowtech II Bottom Bracket is included as part of the package. The HollowTech II Chainset features hollow forged crank arms which are both lightweight and rigid whilst being incredibly strong and durable HollowTech II integrated bottom bracket design uses a wide bearing placement with a large axle diameter for increased stiffness, efficiency and added durability. The Triple version comes with a drilled steel and carbon composite construction middle ring for excellent rigidity and durability 10-speed Dyna-Sys chainrings HG-X chainring with patented spike pins give smooth and fast gear shifts under load Please note: it is recommended that the bottom bracket is initially installed by a bike shop to ensure perfect facing and fit for durability and optimum performance. For use with 10-speed HG-X MTB chains only - this model comes complete with bottom bracket for both 68 and 73mm frames.
