Rock Shox Pike RCT3 Solo Air 160mm 27.5 inch MTB Suspension Fork

27.5", 160mm - Brand_thumb_rockshox The Pike RCT3 27.5'' 650B Boost Solo Air 160mm MTB Fork 2016 from Rockshox is proving that the Pike fork range is still the ultimate trail fork. Weather your trail is a silky smooth ribbon of singletrack, or a rock-infested goat trail in the Alps the Pike forks has got your back. This fork is compatible with 27.5'' wheels with Boost 110mm hub spacing. This fork uses Solo Air which is like a Buddhist monk. Its enlightened design lets you add air to your forks through a single Schrader valve, filling both the positive and negative air spring chambers simultaneously, so they're always in perfect equilibrium. This gives a plush, predictable ride you can set up in seconds, with the lightest weight air spring on the market.. As well as this, this fork is kitted out with the RCT3 Charger Damper, Printed Air Guides and Boost Hub spacing. The Charger Damper is trail tuned and performance focused, it has zero compromise on lockout. The efficiency circuits (Pedal and Lock) sit behind the performance damping, meaning no sacrifice in bump performance for shredding downhill while keeping the ability to maintain pedalling stability for those leg burning climbs and the rapid recovery means more control with less energy. The RCT3 feature means it is also Open with an adjustable low speed compression, Pedal and Lock. Available in Black with a 1.5'' tapered aluminium steerer and hub spacing for Boost hubs (110mm). Magura TS8 eLECT 27.5″ Mountain Bike Suspension Fork

Rigid and suspension forks for road, MTB and cyclocross riding. Forks essentially help connect your front wheel to your handlebar, via your stem, enabling you to navigate corners. The majority are manufactured from alloy and carbon, although a few steel models also exist. My forks section caters for everything from lightweight stiff carbon forks to heavy duty downhill MTB suspension forks.

Rockshox

RockShox are one of mountain biking's most iconic brands, primarily known for suspension forks and rear shocks, but in recent years releasing suspension seatpost and dropper posts too. Founded in 1989 in the boom of the mountain biking scene, their first fork was the RS-1, which was followed throughout the nineties with the RockShox Mag, Quadra, Judy and Indy ranges. This success continued in 1998 with the lightweight SID models, and the heavy duty downhill Boxxer ranges. Due to competition from Fox, Marzocchi, RST and Manitou, sales slowed, and the company was taken over by SRAM in 2002, and has since thrived, with the Reverb Dropper post a common sight on mountain bikes worldwide.

Amazon UK

Amazon famously started off as a book shop operated from a garage in Bellevue, Washington. Founded by Jeff Bezos in 1995, the company rapidly expanded it's product ranges, from books to CDs and DVDs to eventually include pretty much everything under the sun. This is highlighted in the recognisable logo, where the orange arrow points from "A" to "Z". The low pricing and fast delivery (if you use their popular Prime membership) results in Amazon being a popular retailer for cycling products, both from Amazon directly and the 3rd party sellers as well.

So what does this mean for me as a bargain hunting cyclist?! The good news is that Amazon regularly have ridiculous discounts on individual items. Whereas most retailers will discount a product equally in all sizes and colours, Amazon have the unusual trait of reducing a single size at 70-80% off, whereas the rest of the sizes will be at full retail price. If you're prepared to hunt for deals, then you can grab some amazing bargains - I've bought £160 cycling jackets for £25 - and once the item has been purchased, the price has immediately returned to the original RRP again. There doesn't seem to be a great deal of logic to what is reduced, it's not just certain sizes or ugly colours, but if you're prepared to put a bit of work in, you can save hundreds.

Please note: With designer or expensive goods, it is worth only buying products directly from Amazon or third party sellers with excellent feedback, to ensure that they are genuine models and not cheap copies.
