Magura eLECT Coach Computer
Magura eLECT Coach Cycling Computer - Bluetooth Smart, incl. App for IOS and Android, compatible to all eLECT Components MAGURA eLECT Coach maximum control and information on your handlebars. A multi-functional digital speedometer to control all of your eLECT components, with its own smartphone app. The wireless, digital cycle computer the Coach eLECT now completes the growing eLECT Connectivity product ecosystem with its TS R eLECT fork, TS eLECT damper and the new Vyron eLECT seat post as a multifunctional control centre for the growing eLECT Connectivity product ecosystem. It connects all of the various eLECT products together, and enables interaction between these products. All key data can be seen at a single glance on the display, and the rider is constantly informed of the status (locked/unlocked) of forks, shock and Vario dropper, and of the charge levels of the corresponding batteries. In a tight race this could be the edge you need. As a cycle computer, the functional reach of the eLECT Coach is practically unlimited, depending only on which sensors are connected to it via ANT+ wireless technology: speed and distance, cadence, power, pulse rate and much more. If altitude data is also supplied via a smartphone (via GPS and Bluetooth Smart), this can be shown in the highly legible display area alongside the usual ride and rider data. To make processing and sharing all of this data as easy as possible there is a smartphone app developed in-house for Android and iOS and a cloud storage service too. Riders can decide whether the analysis should be for their personal training log-book only, or whether to share their latest feats of sporting prowess on key social media networks, from Facebook to Strava. Other sports and fitness apps can also be used, incidentally, as well as the eLECT Coach app.

About Merlin Cycles
This cycling deal was found at Merlin Cycles, one of the UK's most famous bike shops, located up North!
Merlin Cycles started life in 1993, founded by John Moss as a mail order Mountain Bike business ran directly from his spare bedroom in Chorley. Due to early growth, shortly afterwards he opened his first outlet in Ormskirk, and a few years later in 1998, the company grew into larger premises, moving to Leyland.
In the 1990's and early 2000's, Merlin were known for their ranges of mountain bike hardtails, released under the Rock Lobster and Merlin "Malt" brands. These steel and aluminium hardtails were designed in house, available as framesets or complete bikes, representing excellent value for money. The company was also well known for their handbuilt MTB wheels, which in my experience lasted for years without needing truing!
Merlin have always been competitive on pricing, particularly on suspension forks, brakes, wheels and groupsets, which continues to this day. Nowadays they have introduced road cycling equipment and clothing into their product ranges, due to the increase in popularity in this field, thus catering for a broader range of cyclists.
