Lezyne V10 Multi Tool
The alloy "V" series uses forged and machined chrome vanadium tool bits and CNC-machined 7075 side plates. The bits on all Lezyne tools employ center-pivot technology; instead of bending the base of the bit around the tool support rod, each bit has the center of its base drilled out to create 360 degrees of reinforcement, letting you get your torque on when you need to. The V10 is loaded with tools while remaining compact. Don't worry about leaning into it (as long as the part can handle it) , thanks to center-pivot bit machining, and the stiff frame, the V10 can take it. It'll easily fit in the Lezyne M- Caddy's custom tool pocket, a hydration pack, or the pocket of your baggies. A relative newcomer to the cycling world, Lezyne began life in 2007 founded by ex pro tri-athlete Micki Kozuschek. Previous companies that Kozuschek founded in Germany included Maxcycles and Truvativ, the latter of which was sold to SRAM in 2004. Three years later he began Lezyne, with the ethos of producing affordable yet high quality cycling accessories, or "Engineered Design" as he phrased it. Located in San Luis Obispo, California, all of their products are assembled in their Taiwanese factory. In particular they are known for bike pumps, and LED lights, which in my experience are a good balance between being affordable yet highly functional. Professional riders and teams sponsored by Lezyne include Lotto Belisol, Specialized-Lululemon, and mountain bikers Cedric Gracia, Danny MacAskill and Remy Absalon.
