Genesis Equilibrium Disc Reynolds 931 Road Bike
High performance steel road race bike with hydraulic brakes Full Reynolds 931 'super-steel' frame with carbon fork Shimano 105 11 speed transmission Shimano hydraulic brakes Fulcrum Racing Sport DB CX Wheels Challenge Paris Roubaix CL Plus 700 x 27 tyres The designers of the Genesis Equilibrium Disc 931 asked themselves a question. What do you do when your top of line steel road bike just isn't quite enough? Build it from 931 super steel! Taking their performance Equilibrium range to it's natural conclusion they created a bike with one of the lightest steel frames in its class, that you can ride all day, race at top speed and then ride home again in comfort. The Genesis Equilibrium Dsic 931 boasts 11 speed Shimano transmission for super smooth gear shifting and Shimano full hydraulic brakes for ultra-reliable stopping in all conditions. Challenge Paris Roubaix tyres wrapped around Fulcrum Racing Sport DB CX wheels give you a class leading set of hoops that are up for anything, especially given the larger volume of the 27c rubber. If longer rides are your thing, the Equilibrium Disc 931 will happily accept a rear rack for touring or mudguards for year round commuting. With a Genesis Equilibrium Disc 931 you get one of the best quality steel frames that money can buy, wrapped in an endlessly versatile, high performance package of kit. Win:win! Road Bike Deals
This deal was originally found at Evans Cycles website, a bike shop which can trace it's roots back nearly 100 years! Evans Cycles is a London based chain of cycle shops, complete with an extensive online shop. Founded in 1921 by Frederick Evans in Kennington Road, SE London, the business traded for 30 years before being acquired by Joseph Smith in the 1950s, selling a range of cycles and toys. By the 1970s, focus was diverted solely to bicycles and cycling related equipment, and in the following years several franchised shops were opened. These were later brought back under the control of the main Evans company in the 1990s, at which point the famous Evans mail order catalogue was launched, complete with the traditional green and yellow colour scheme. With the growth of the internet, a website was launched in 1999 to help increase sales further, the latest incarnation of which can be found at www.evanscycles.com.
Since the early 2000s' the company has been steadily expanding, regularly opening new stores each year. By 2012, Evans employs 1100 members of staff, and currently has over 50 stores in the UK, making it one of the biggest cycle retailers in the country. In addition to selling a wide range of popular brands, Evans has also produced product ranges under "Pinnacle" and also currently has an exclusive deal with the "Hoy" brand.
