Endura Ladies Single Track Jacket
Endura's SingleTrack jacket is versatile and offers you protection from winter weather both on and off the bike. With fully sealed seams, the SingleTrack jacket is both wind and waterproof, whilst a ventilation system ensures you won't overheat. Constructed from a 2.5 layer technical fabric, the SingleTrack jacket keeps wind and rain out. To keep you dry, this breathable fabric pulls moisture away from the skin. Underarm vents keep you cool when things heat up. For added protection from rain, the SingleTrack jacket features an adjustable, engineered hood, which stows away into the collar when it isn't needed. The SingleTrack is cut with cycling in mind. A modest droptail provides protection from mud and spray, without limiting your freedom of movement. Adjustable cuffs and hems allow you to customise the fit to suit you. For storage of your essentials, there are two hand warmer pockets and a Napoleon chest pocket with a media port. To ensure that you remain visible when the light is low, reflective trims ensure that you remain as visible as possible. A Scottish brand, Endura started life in 1993, aiming to provide functional and hard wearing cycling apparel at a competitive price. Founded by Jim McFarlane, they work with many professional riders and teams, including Movistar Team (ranked number 1 on the World Tour 2016), Alex Dowsett and Danny MacAskill. In 2014, they employed 100 staff to cope with demand from the public and pro teams that they supply. Their products have been extensively tested in McLaren F1 wind-tunnel, GebioMized research lab in Germany, and also an environmental chamber at the University of Kent - to ensure that every possible advantage can be gained. This technology used in the professionals clothing trickles down to their affordable consumer ranges, which are very popular amongst UK riders in Road cycling, Mountain Biking, cyclocross and triathlon disciplines. I originally found this deal at Wiggle, who are widely established as one of the biggest cycle retailers in the UK. The first incarnation of this giant was as a small bike shop based in Portsmouth, named Butler Cycles. A few years later this evolved into Bikes @ Butlers to highlight their intentions to move the business online with the .com boom and subsequent rise in online sales. At the end of May in 1999 Wiggle.co.uk was launched by Mitch Dall and Harvey Jones. A rapid growth resulted in a need to move premises, and so in 2002 it relocated to Jackson Close, Portsmouth. This strong growth continued, and Wiggle has relocated twice since, the first being to Lakeside 1000, and then leaving Pompey altogether for a huge warehouse located centrally in Wolverhampton. Similarly to CRC, Wiggle stock many own brands, such as dhb, Eastway, Lifeline and Verenti, as well as bike, components and clothing from all of the leading manufacturers. Despite it's origins as a bike shop, Wiggle continue to stock equipment and apparel for not just road cycling and mountain biking, with extensive product lines for other disciplines such as triathlon kit, children's and commuters products and also running clothing and accessories. Prompt in delivery, and offering efficient returns and competitive pricing, Wiggle remain a firm favourite amongst serious and recreational cyclists alike, not least because of the customary bags of Haribo they include free with orders to keep their customers sweet!
