DT Swiss R23 Spline Wheels
It is possible to combine butted with bladed to meet even higher demands on strength and low weight.
Double Butted: These spokes have 2 different diameters.
A section of the spoke is butted through cold forging. This creates a thinner diameter. Therefore this thinner piece allows a reduction in weight while improving ductility.
Pawl: A proven freewheel system with pawls, reliable and safe.
Prolock: A patented liquid injected into the nipple thread allows for extremely durable wheel builds.
Quick Release: A wheel mounting system developed by Tullio Campagnolo in 1922.
Sleeve Jointing: A precise sleeve connects the profile; this guarantees optimum resistance against all occurring loads. Sleeve jointing is the best alternative to SBWT welded rims.
Straightpull: The term Straightpull refers to spokes with no bend at the head.
This design allows for an ideal strength to weight ratio when compared to conventional spokes. Due to their more precise alignment and direct trajectory, straight-pull spoke technology creates a stiffer, more responsive wheel.
Spline: With straight pull spokes and the use of specific lacing, superlight hubs as well as high end rims featuring key DT Swiss technology, SPLINE wheels make for a perfect training and racing partner.
