Deda Superleggera 35 Bars
No handlebar in the world has the 35mm diameter. The bar diameter is the main factor of how much your your handlebar will flex especially around the stem clamping area and this flex is what defines the rigidity of your handlebars. Deda Elementi (or Deda as they are occasionally shortened to) are an Italian manufacturer of finishing kit, located in Campagnola Cremasca in Lombardy. Their focus is largely on road cycling, with lightweight ranges of handlebars, stems and seatposts, as well as in more recent times wheels and accessories. The majority of their products are finished in black, and constructed from either alloy (for the cheaper ranges) or carbon (for the performance ranges). Pro Cycling Teams that either have or do use Deda's products include AG2R La Mondiale and Lotto-Belisol.
Their website doesn't feature a great deal of information about the company, other than a bit of mission statement blurb here - however if you wish to view their glossy Italian product ranges, then you can do so here.
I originally found this deal at Wiggle, who are widely established as one of the biggest cycle retailers in the UK. The first incarnation of this giant was as a small bike shop based in Portsmouth, named Butler Cycles. A few years later this evolved into Bikes @ Butlers to highlight their intentions to move the business online with the .com boom and subsequent rise in online sales. At the end of May in 1999 Wiggle.co.uk was launched by Mitch Dall and Harvey Jones. A rapid growth resulted in a need to move premises, and so in 2002 it relocated to Jackson Close, Portsmouth. This strong growth continued, and Wiggle has relocated twice since, the first being to Lakeside 1000, and then leaving Pompey altogether for a huge warehouse located centrally in Wolverhampton. Similarly to CRC, Wiggle stock many own brands, such as dhb, Eastway, Lifeline and Verenti, as well as bike, components and clothing from all of the leading manufacturers. Despite it's origins as a bike shop, Wiggle continue to stock equipment and apparel for not just road cycling and mountain biking, with extensive product lines for other disciplines such as triathlon kit, children's and commuters products and also running clothing and accessories. Prompt in delivery, and offering efficient returns and competitive pricing, Wiggle remain a firm favourite amongst serious and recreational cyclists alike, not least because of the customary bags of Haribo they include free with orders to keep their customers sweet!
