The profile is optimized to pair with the taller front ends of sportive, touring and gravel/adventure bikes. These offer more relaxed cycling posture in which the lower back follows a more gentle curve as you reach the handlebars.
In this posture the pelvis may tilt forward slightly. The angle between the spine and the legs also becomes more obtuse. As the pelvis tilts forward, more pressure is likely to be applied to the tissue in front of the sit bones.
The Ti Endurance saddle features a channel in the padding layer and a cut-out in the base. These alleviate pressure and distribute weight towards the sit bones for a more sustainable and comfortable experience. The 145mm width has been tailored to accommodate the spacing of the sit bones with sufficient area to distribute pressure and offer comfort and stability.
The wings of the saddle are curved to accommodate the inner thigh during the pedal stroke, and to offer support in the corners. Worth the weight. Weight is an important factor when choosing components for your bike; it affects how your bike feels, how it handles and its inertia.
The COSINE TI Endurance saddle features Titanium alloy rails coated with Chromium Nitride (CrN). These offer exceptional tensile strength, stiffness and corrosion resistance at an extremely low weight. The reduced weight helps you conserve energy as you climb and accelerate, and ultimately saves crucial seconds on your time.
Crn/Ti Titanium rails are also highly resistant to flexing and deforming. This makes them far less likely to bend or creak as you ride. COSINE seat rails also feature measurement markers.
These help you adjust the fore/aft position of your saddle accurately to achieve an efficient and ergonomic pedaling motion.
